Ingredients

  • One kilogram of boneless chicken, beef, or mutton
  • One cup of soaked green lentil
  • One cup of soaked wheat grain
  • A half cup of soaked rice
  • Two large onions – sliced
  • One pod of skinless garlic
  • Eight chopped green chilies
  • Three teaspoons of red chili powder
  • One teaspoon of crushed black pepper
  • Two teaspoons of dry coriander powder
  • One teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Some water
  • For mini kebabs, you will need the following ingredients
    • A half kilogram of minced chicken or beef
    • Two teaspoons of red chili powder
    • One teaspoon of cumin powder
    • One teaspoon of salt
    • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Cook green lentils, meat, onion, garlic, green chilies, crushed black pepper, and red chili powder in a skillet
  2. Add coriander powder, three glasses of water, and turmeric powder to the skillet
  3. Continue cooking until the meat is soft or tender
  4. Add rice to another skillet
  5. Now add four glasses of water and wheat grain to the skillet
  6. Cook until wheat grains are tender
  7. Next, mix grains in the meat mixture and grin to make a coarse mixture
  8. Put all the ground mixture in a large skillet
  9. Cover the skillet and cook over a medium-high heat
  10. Add mini kababs over harissa and serve hot
