How to make Shawarma – Egyptian Recipes

Ingredients
- One found of flank steak
- Cut the steak into strips
- 200 grams of yogurt
- Two large red onions
- Finely chop the onions
- Four tablespoons of white vinegar
- A half teaspoon of ground black pepper
- A half teaspoon of salt
- Two tablespoons of olive oil
- One green bell pepper
- Two diced tomatoes
- A half cup of chopped parsley
- Egyptian tahini sauce
- Petit pan bread
Instructions
- Start the process by mixing the minced onion, yogurt, and vinegar
- Once mixed, apply the mixture to the steak
- Refrigerate the steak for 30 minutes
- Use a large skillet and heat oil over medium heat
- Add the mix and cook
- Stir the mixture for at least five minutes
- Add the sliced green pepper and stir again to combine
- Cover the skillet and cook for 15-20 minutes
- Remove the cover and add tomatoes to the skillet
- Cover and cook for another five minutes
- Stir in the parsley and the mixture to combine for 2-3 minutes
- Remove from heat and make the sandwiches
- Apply a layer of tahini sauce and add Shawarma to the sandwich
- Serve with Egyptian tahini sauce or tomato salad
